Da K Party..

What's In My Head?

My music Background: The begining of Electronic Music for me...

It began when I was back in 8th grade.. I was a full All-out grunge person.. I was into bands like Green Day, Alice in Chains, and Foo Fighters. The only electro I listened to was Nine Inch Nails. Then one Saturday Night I turned on WHFS. There was a show on called "The Mutant Dance Party" and the first song i heard on there was KMFDM's "Juke Joint Jezzebel". It really blew my mind. After that, I was hooked. I strted to listen to Electronic music. It was around the same time I started to like Anime. I listened to MDP for all of Ninth Grade.. I also transformed to Punk style...WHFS again in late 1996 drove me deeper into the electro spectrum when Bjork was on Modern Rock Live promoting "Telegram"... her voice became the sweetest that I have ever heard.. two years later I got all of her albums.. and she became my crossover point. Other artists I started to get into in my high school years were Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Prodigy, Portishead, and others. After listening to more electro I became a techno-bohemian. Wearing black coats, shirts, pants and metal.. I became morpheus.. but it's not over yet...

My First Event ever..

My first venue was in Mid-February of 2000, at Fever in Baltimore.. When I first arrived.. I felt like I was in heaven.. these were my people, they all loved electo music. I felt a sense of belonging, after that, I became a raver. Candy all over my body, and a head full of N2O.. I usually kept away from the pills.. from then.. I went to raves and clubs in Philly, DC, and Baltimore when I had the chance to. Then I moved to hellhole central, UMES, Princess Anne, MD. No rave and all Rap (which was cool.. but I miss my raving days) I began to change again.. but then I was soo pleased to hear that my best freind Brian got into the rave. I then went to the Edge on Thanksgiving.. that was the beginning of a new me... I am a full raver now.. and you're gonna see me sometimes in DC and B-more when I'm off from college.. :-) ;-) LATEST NEWS: Hibernation is almost over... I will return to the scene probably June 9th @ Starscape.. I can't wait to see you guys next month..
